Huayang Oil & Gas Oilfield Project Accelerates Commissioning
In early summer, at the Huayang Oil and Gas project site in the Guanshan Industrial Park, Yanliang District, workers are carrying out their tasks in an orderly manner. Inside the completed factory building, each production line is currently undergoing trial operations at a rapid pace. As a municipal-level key project, the project is accelerating construction and moving toward efficient production, injecting strong momentum into the development of advanced manufacturing in the region.
The project was under construction by Xi'an Huayang Oil and Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 260 million yuan. It covers an area of 50 mu and has a total floor area of over 20,000 square meters. It plans to construct standardized industrial workshops, comprehensive buildings, R&D buildings and various supporting auxiliary facilities, forming a modern industrial base integrating oil and gas equipment R&D, intelligent manufacturing and finished product exhibition. Construction of the project commenced in June 2025, at present, Workshop No.2 and the multi-purpose complex have been fully accomplished.
Inside Workshop No.2, reporters observed clearly defined functional zones with automated production equipment running in orderly operation. Workers were welding the bases of power houses, expediting customized orders for skid-mounted units and gas source houses. The production line has entered a stable trial operation phase.
Upon official commissioning of the enterprise, Workshop No.2 will be mainly responsible for product assembly and finished product display. Workshop No.1, currently under accelerated construction, is designated for core production processes including sandblasting, painting and welding. Steel beam installation is progressing steadily, with completion expected by mid-July, laying a solid foundation for the full launch of the whole project in the second half of the year.
Backed by a sound quality management system, the enterprise has successfully obtained multiple system certifications and continuously deepens industry-university-research collaborative cooperation with Xi’an Shiyou University.
Its core products include mud solid control systems, sludge treatment equipment, oilfield barracks, new energy shelters and other items. The company supplies major domestic oilfields and central state-owned enterprises, with products exported to markets across the Middle East, South America, Africa, Europe and many other countries.
Tao Xiwei, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Promotion Center of Fuyan New District, explained that since the project's inception, the center has implemented end-to-end support services. On the one hand, it has worked tirelessly to maintain order and a safe environment at the construction site; on the other hand, it has taken the initiative to coordinate and resolve issues related to permit processing, thereby clearing obstacles to the project's progress.
At the same time, the Fuyan New District Industrial Development Promotion Center has proactively assessed enterprises' labor needs for production and, in collaboration with human resources and social security departments, has facilitated targeted job matching. Moving forward, the center will continue to provide comprehensive, full-cycle support, offering multi-faceted assistance in production and operations, talent recruitment and development, and market expansion to help enterprises take root, grow, and thrive in.
Once the project is fully operational in the second half of the year, Huayang Oil & Gas will leverage the advantages of its smart manufacturing park to focus on the R&D and manufacturing of environmental protection equipment for the oil and gas industry. By prioritizing quality and service, the company aims to deepen its market presence, support the upgrading of advanced manufacturing sector of Yanliang District, and drive regional economic development.
