The mixed liquid flows out of the shear tube and enters the circulation tank.
The shear tube is a hollow tube gradually expanding according to a certain curved surface, its main function is to increase the shear force of the liquid in the tube, so that the material can be better dispersed and the pressure of the mixed liquid can be improved to enter the circulation tank.

Shear tubes actually take advantage of "fast flow and low pressure; Slow flow, high pressure "Bernoulli effect. In the mixing room, the pressure is low because the liquid is ejected from the nozzle at high speed. After the liquid enters the shear tube, the cross section gradually becomes larger and the velocity becomes smaller, so the pressure increases.
The pressure loss after slurry mixing is very large, so that the drilling fluid can be directly discharged into the drilling fluid tank after mixing through the jet funnel. Usually the funnel is installed on the top of the drilling fluid tank (that is, high installation), so that the mixed drilling fluid does not need to climb the slope directly into the drilling fluid tank. Slurry mixing funnel is usually driven directly by electric mixing pump. When the mixing effect is not good, it is necessary to adjust the distance between the jet funnel nozzle and the exit end face to achieve the best mixing effect.
