China Desander Cyclones for Solid Control - Reliable Suppliers & Factory for Efficient Cutting Removal

The desander cyclone is a crucial component of desanders and desilters, designed to efficiently remove remaining cuttings larger than barite particles. When barite is added to drilling fluids, this desander cyclone, supplied by top China suppliers and manufactured in advanced factories, ensures the bottom desilter passes through a 100~325 mesh screen. This process not only recovers most of the barite but also continuously eliminates drill cuttings larger than the mesh size. For reliable performance and high-quality production, choose desander cyclone products from leading China suppliers and factories

    Features & Benefits

    hyang
Hyang desander desilter cones adopted 100% Polyurethane or abrasion resistant alloy material, and we use clamp design, ensuring long life and easy maintenance. it is the ideal products to match desander and desilter, and the sizes are vailable for 8", 10", 12", 14", and 20" desander cyclones. Hyang provides replacement for international brands like Derrick or Swaco.

    Desander Cyclones

    500GPM capacity, separates solid-phase particles of 45~75μm.

    Desilter Cyclones

80 GPM capacity, separates solid phase particles of 15~45μm.

    Working Principle

    hyang
The basic principle of cyclone desander is to use centrifugal force to introduce fluid tangentially into the conical shell of the desander cyclone, and the action of gravity pushes the solid phase to the cone surface and runs down the surface to the separator for discharge mouth discharge. The secondary liquid swirl action generated in the separator shell will generate upward movement force, and then the liquid will be discharged from the discharge manifold through the swirl detector. The smaller diameter of the sand removal cyclone is, the greater the separation effect will be so that solid particles with smaller particle sizes can be successfully separated.
As a professional manufacturer of desander, HYANG can supply 8", 10", 12", 14", and 20" desander cyclones. Our desander cyclones are available for different materials, such as ceramic cyclones, polyurethane cyclones, cast iron cyclones, etc. Our desander hydrocyclones are effective on both oil-base and water-base weighted and unweighted drilling fluid systems, it’s widely used in oil and gas drilling solids control systems, horizontal directional drilling mud cyclones, and shield muddy water separation cyclone treatment.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What materials are used for Hyang desander and desilter cones?

Hyang desander and desilter cones are manufactured using 100% Polyurethane or abrasion-resistant alloy materials. They feature a clamp design to ensure a long service life and easy maintenance.

What sizes of desander cyclones are available?

We supply desander cyclones in various sizes, including 8", 10", 12", 14", and 20" options to suit different system configurations.

What are the separation capabilities of the desander and desilter cyclones?

Our desander cyclones operate at 500 GPM and separate solid-phase particles ranging from 45 to 75μm. The desilter cyclones operate at 80 GPM and separate solid-phase particles ranging from 15 to 45μm.

How does the cyclone desander work?

It utilizes centrifugal force to feed fluid tangentially into the conical shell. Gravity forces the heavier solid particles to the cone surface and down to the discharge outlet, while the secondary upward liquid swirl directs the cleaned fluid out through the discharge manifold.

Are Hyang cyclones compatible with other international brands?

Yes, Hyang provides high-quality replacement cyclones compatible with major international brands, including Derrick and Swaco.

What drilling fluid systems are these hydrocyclones compatible with?

Our hydrocyclones are highly effective on both oil-base and water-base weighted and unweighted drilling fluid systems. They are widely used in oil and gas drilling, horizontal directional drilling, and shield muddy water separation.
